House of BeJordra
Book One – The Line Continued
The blue light that pulsed through the rune stone in front of her stopped. She had been in a museum, but now everything in that room, including the people, was in a giant cave. It was silent for mere seconds, and then the screaming started when they fell. As glass shattered and wood splintered, she watched in horror as some of the people disappeared into an abyss.
Tamra grew up hearing stories about the land of Abbis from her great-grandmother. Stories of a wonderful place filled with magical creatures called aeroflis, royal houses that controlled the power stone, and their battle against the evil zeek. Her imagination was filled with these thrilling stories, and as a child, she wanted nothing more than to go to this world.
Now she was here, trapped inside the nest chamber of the zeek. Did she tell the others from the museum that they were in terrible danger?
Abbis is a land steeped in protocols and traditions. For generations, the royal houses came together only when they needed to stop a zeek rising. But even that ended when the shield was placed over the nest to lock the zeek in.
All of this has changed with Tamra’s arrival and her discovery that some wishes do come true.

Book Two – The Line Established
The aeroflis froze, and Tamra looked at them with worry as she asked, “What is wrong?”
Her aeroflis said with urgency, “Light the pikes for the ReMansala patrol now! They are at the nest mountain, zeek are emerging!”
Tamra focused her thoughts and called back to her aeroflis, “Are they lit? Are they lit?”
When the aeroflis answered yes, Tamra turned to Mosha-Be. “Go!” she commanded him. Without a word Mosha-Be and her warriors left.
Silent tears streamed down her face as she left her children behind to fight the zeek once again.
Ever since Tamra saw the power stone in the museum and realized all the stories her Memee told her as a child were true, her life was turned upside down. Now she lives in a new world apart from her family, in love with a man that protocol says she can’t have, joined to a man who prefers their arch enemy, the zeek, over her, and the threat of a zeek rising constantly on her mind.
All Tamra wants is to continue the lineage of the House of BeJordra. When her great-grandmother, the last in the line, had to leave this world, the stone shut down and the house closed. BeJordra’s sept was left without a house and nameless. She wouldn’t allow that to happen again.

Book Three – The Line Secured
“Sing for me,” Tamra called out to the stone. As the warriors’ pikes exploded in light, she could hear the pulse of the stone behind the mountain of sand. The bolt of blue light hit the dune just below the center, creating a storm of sand that washed down the mountainside. When the air cleared, the door to the House of HeSorian was visible.
As her control over the stone grows, Tamra learns the secrets of Abbis’s past. Her increasing power draws more attention from the aeroflis Elders. The House of BeJordra is given a great honor: an invitation to visit Syra and meet with the Elders. As the trip is planned, Tamra wonders why the Elders want to see her and her children.
Tamra continues to work toward changing protocol so that her family and lineage will be acknowledged. She also faces the daily struggle with the zeek and their threat over the land.
