The Counselor’s Herald

Ailith is about to add the greatest entry of all to her Adventure Diary.

   The people of Bakana are fragmented. Their settlement was pulled apart by strife and pride. Before this occurred, they were a joyful people, rich in their culture and working together for the good of the settlement. For generations, the Counselor would come to their assemblies to advise and help with problems. It was a time of celebration and gift-giving. Now, with the Baka torn apart, the Counselor has not seen them for three generations, and his time as counselor is drawing to a close.
   A new counselor must be chosen, but with some of the Baka no longer believing in him and others alone in their secluded lives, who will rally the Baka to find the new counselor?
   Fourteen-year-old Ailith longs for adventure, but with four protective older brothers, plus her parents, she has some difficulties with that. So, she has taken to sneaking out at night to go on her adventures. She records every detail in her Adventure Diary. One night after a thwarted adventure, she mysteriously finds herself on the side of a strange mountain. She soon finds out that she is the Counselor’s Herald, tasked with finding the new counselor for the Bakana.
   Is she the perfect one to bring to the world of Bakana and help the Baka find their new counselor? Can she help the Runners fight through their fears on the Quest of Learning? Which one of the Runners will complete the quest and become the Counselor who will bring about a new beginning for the Baka?

The Second Door

Secret doors and palace intrigue await Ailith on her next adventure.

   Ailith is off on another adventure. However, this time, she has a companion, her brother. When Ailith is pulled into the past through a secret door at her father’s dig, her brother Truman is taken along.
   The city of Pangrea is in danger because their Sun Princess is missing. Her twin sister, the Moon Princess, can’t rule without her. The law says the princesses must rule as a team, or the city will be left unprotected and open to the greed of a neighboring enemy.
   Ailith must find the missing Sun Princess and figure out why she disappeared in the first place. While Ailith masquerades as the Sun Princess, she finds herself getting deeper into the mystery as hidden clues and secret doors are revealed. She is determined to follow the clues and solve the case. That is if she can avoid the assassination attempts.
   Together with her brother and the Moon Princess, Ailith unravels a mystery that started before the princesses were born. A mystery that has now taken the life of their father and threatens the princesses as well.

Day of the Warriors’ Moon

The Moon requires a sacrifice.

   Ailith smiled as she picked up her new adventure coat to see how heavy it was. Mother had helped her stock it with every conceivable item. She was about to put it down when the floor under her disappeared.
   With arms and legs flailing, Ailith fell into darkness. Before her scream could be uttered, she plunged into cold water. Struggling to find the surface, she found herself falling a second time. She had enough insight to realize she was going over a waterfall before she was plunged under the surface yet again.
   In the third installment of this series, Ailith starts on another heart-pounding adventure. In her previous ventures, she’d encountered dangers but always felt she was protected from actual harm.
   However, this time, everything is different.
   Ailith finds herself in a desperate situation when she is selected to be the sacrifice for the Day of the Warriors’ Moon. Not only does she have to save herself, she has to figure out who is telling the truth and who is behind all the lies she has been told. During her time in the Mahan’an Valley, she develops deep friendships and a loss that will affect her forever.

Occupants of the Void

Ailith confronts one of her worst fears, the loss of another she cares for.

   Ailith’s best friend, Kaitlin, knows all about her journeys to other worlds or times. She loves to hear about Ailith’s adventures but has no interest in ever taking part. However, on the first day of school, a trip to the supply room has both of them disappearing. The girls find themselves in a bizarre but beautiful house with endless foods on display to tempt them and endless rooms to get lost in, but no one living there.
   Ailith makes a promise to a frightened Kaitlin that she will protect her friend and keep her safe. She intends to keep that promise until a strange portal opens up and pulls Kaitlin away. Now alone, fear and guilt overwhelm Ailith as she searches desperately to find her friend.
   In a futuristic city where automation meets your every need, Ailith and Kaitlin meet Maylin. They must find out what happened seven years earlier that caused her mother and daughter to become occupants of the void.
   By every account, this world is perfect for its citizens, but underneath, certain things are not what they seem.

Fallows Corner

   Ailith’s adventures have always taken her to different worlds or to different times in her own world. This time, her newest adventure is happening just down the street.
   When she falls through the floor at Fallows Corner and lands in a hidden treasure room, it opens up a world of intrigue, treasure hunters, and the secret past of the house’s former owner.
   Ailith usually prefers to work alone on her adventures, but now she has Mother, Father, and Chief Watkins concerned about her every move. In addition to this, there’s a mysterious woman following her around, plus dangerous treasure hunters eager to learn what she knows.
   Ailith has plenty to keep herself busy.
